Pawfessional security dog added to the team
Rascal the dog has been working around Rectory Road Nurseries for quiet some time.
He can be seen patrolling the grounds, patting down some visitors and sniffing out any problems. Often visitors may find Rascal in his stealth mode, laying down pretending to have his eyes closed. Many people thought he was asleep, however Rascal was still working hard watching people who maybe up to no good whilst they walk round – don’t be fooled!
Rest assured Rascal is no amateur he’s a true pawfessional security dog.
All the same Rascal has been working on a voluntary basis for some time now, his only rewards, good food, a lot of love and of course his daily patrol to investigate areas further afield. Given his great service and his instance to carry on working in a voluntary capacity, Kevin and Carl felt it was time he was recognised for his bravery and diligence. So this week Rascal was awarded with his very own pawfessional security uniform.
On being asked about his new elevated status in the Nursery team he stated –
“Kevin and Carl have been so good to me since my return from my tour of duty of Ashton and associated hot spots. I haven’t to mention the troubles in Haydock, sssh people driving away with proper fast horses, I think it’s horseknapping personally. Anyway Kevin and Carl have treated me like their own. So I’m determined to carry on serving them with great levels of security and with a bit of luck I’ll loose a little weight so this blumin top doesn’t cut me under the arms. Plus I think my bum still looks big in it but Carl says it’s fine!”
So if you’re in the areas why not pay us a visit to see our Pawfessional Security Guard who knows he may be on duty.
