Wigan Garden Centre always growing
Rectory Road Nurseries is a for sure a Wigan Garden Centre that's always growing - and not just plants.
Over recent months we have seen rapid improvement to our sculpture and artwork installations sections. This area of the garden features some amazing and quirky tableau's and sculpture installations. All produced from upcycled materials and items donated and collected over the years.
The artwork and sculptures created by Kevin Duffy have been a source of interest for many years, with visitors from all over the UK and rest of the world visiting to see these uplifting and often amusing pieces of outsider are.
Take a trip to visit us, the sculpture and artwork installations area is open for all members of the public, all we ask is a small donation charity as you enter. Of course our usual brand of hospitality including refreshments are almost always on hand, plus you may have the opportunity to meet the artist whole for sure provide you with a host of stories and whimsical outlooks on life, by the way he may even get the banjo out and sing you a song.
